Mayfest: Success
With over 5000 attendees, Seminole's First Annual Mayfest was a success. Seminole Arts Council has already started plans for next year’s event.
Seminole Art Council Elects New President.
In an emergency session, the board of the Seminole Arts Council voted for Patrick Cowart as their new President and elected 7 new board members. The vote was called after Miranda Cotton resigned her position as President.
Moving forward, the focus of the arts council will be to strengthen support for artists and build deeper community connections.
There’s a long road ahead of us but we have an opportunity to invest in something that will give lasting impact for generations to come. The preservation of our culture through the arts is essential for societies to continue to reflect and grow.
None of this work happens alone. It takes people who believe in our mission; our artists, patrons, volunteers, and neighbors.
